About the role As a Community Connector, you'll work alongside people in their communities, supporting them to develop skills, build confidence, and achieve the things that matter most to them. No two days are the same, but you'll be:
Supporting people to develop life skills ,confidence and independence Encouraging choice, control and personalized outcomes Enable access to meaningful activities, hobbies and experiences Building positive, trusting relationships that will make a lasting difference Working as part of a supportive team, alongside Regional Outreach Manager and assistant Outreach Managers as well as your colleagues who share your values This is a flexible role, with shifts based on the needs of the people we support.

You will need to have adequate literacy and numeracy skills as well as basic computer skills. No direct experience is required as full training is given by Discovery. A full induction is provided the day you start and you will work towards your Care Certificate within the first three months of your new role, with full support from the Locality and Assistant Locality Managers.
