Resourcing Group are working alongside a lovely Maintenance division of a public sector landlord, who are expanding their team and would like to hire an experienced semi-skilled labourer to join their team as soon as possible.

This role offers an opportunity to join on a temporary to permanent basis, meaning we will payroll you for the first short period of time when you start with the contractor prior to being taken on directly.

The position involves working in the stores, transporting materials across the teams to different areas across South Somerset. You will support the different departments and work in both occupied and void properties, so the work is not exclusively based outside and offers lots of variety. You will also have the opportunity to join a direct team of experienced people who can support you if you want to upskill and further develop in the future.

The role offers a tipper van to be driver and operated. This would suit someone familiar with driving larger vehicles and a full UK driving licence is critical.

The company will put the successful candidate through additional training as and when needed, e.g. Asbestos Awareness and any other health and safety requirements for the role.

You do not need CSCS for this role. It is great if you have one, but it is not required.

• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in a similar environment – experience with construction sites or in the built environment is important.
• Experience of driving a company vehicle
