Manufacturing Engineering Division members in Murata Company, including Production Department, Production Engineering Department members and other related departments within Murata group. Involving in parts supply coordination, such as machine manufacturing vendors and technical personnel.

The successful candidate will develop technical expertise in manufacturing engineering by driving equipment reliability, process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to support high-quality and efficient production operations.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve machine reliability, productivity.
- Lead troubleshooting activities for complex equipment issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Plan, execute, and monitor engineering improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
- Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment availability.
- Support new equipment installation, machine qualification, process validation, and production ramp-up activities.
- Perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.).
- Analyze production and equipment data to identify trends and recommend engineering solutions.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Facilities, R&D, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes. - Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and company engineering standards.
- Participate in automation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve manufacturing capability.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to technicians when required.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant manufacturing or semiconductor experience will have an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured engineering mindset.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, automation, and engineering principles.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, robotics, servo systems, or industrial automation is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and engineering data analysis tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts when operational support is required.
