Social Worker, Human Services​/ Social Work

• Provide mentoring and counselling support to identified students and families
• Build positive relationships and support students' holistic development
• Conduct student outreach, learning journeys, home visits, and family engagement sessions
• Facilitate group programmes for students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs
• Identify and report students requiring additional support
• Participate in case review and case management meetings with school support teams
• Refer students and families to appropriate community resources and external agencies
• Maintain case records and provide regular progress updates

• Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Community Development, or related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience working with children, youth, or families
• Experience in casework or individual support preferred
• School-based or youth work experience is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to maintain case documentation and reports
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with school personnel
• Empathetic, patient, resilient, and able to engage at-risk youth effectively

30 days (Immediate)

Mondays and Thursdays

Working hours:

8.30am – 6.00pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
