Part‑Time Administrative Assistant – LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester

Join the team that keeps the magic running behind the scenes! This role supports our teams while adding creativity and energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top‑notch service to internal and external guests.
  • Promote a fun, friendly, and professional atmosphere.
  • Handle confidential company and employee information.
  • Assist leadership with various administrative tasks and office support.
  • Create and maintain back‑of‑house support functions.
  • Support HR with recruitment: job fairs, screenings, interviews, and candidate communication.
  • Help deliver onboarding and team induction programs.
  • Assist with employee reward & recognition initiatives.
  • Keep files, documents, and invoices organized.
  • Manage POs for office vendors.
  • Handle mail, courier interactions, and office equipment.
  • Maintain office, breakroom, and uniform supplies.
  • Greet and assist backstage visitors, vendors, clients, and job candidates.
  • Update noticeboards and keep back‑of‑house tidy.
  • Troubleshoot issues that affect smooth office operations.
  • Support all departments during busy seasons and special projects.
  • Perform other magical tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience (preferred).
  • Office experience with public interaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment.
  • Knowledge of standard office software and equipment.
  • Strong organizational and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to learn new processes and follow office procedures.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Use standard computer tools.
  • Sit, stand, or walk for long periods.
  • Lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Perform general movement tasks (bend, stoop, reach, twist).
  • Work in varying temperatures.
  • Handle moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Move through different lighting environments.
