Location: City of Yonkers

Physician Practice Enhancement - PPE is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team as a Per diem Position sphs in Yonkers, NY.

St. Joseph's has served Yonkers and the surrounding communities of lower Westchester and northern Bronx with patient centered quality focused inpatient and outpatient care including specialized programs such as cardiology, orthopedics, family medicine and wound care as well as advanced emergency treatment.

Per Diem days and nights shifts available

Must have a valid unrestricted NY Medical License

The ideal candidate will provide immediate medical care to patients in an emergency setting, demonstrating expertise in various medical specialties and delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients in the emergency department
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions
- Perform medical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Stay current with advancements in emergency medicine practices

Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Post-residency experience in an emergency department setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and imaging interpretation
- Ability to phlebotomize and perform minor surgical procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
