Location: City of Yonkers
120‑bed nursing facility located in Yonkers is seeking a Dietary Assistant to join our team.
Key Requirements- Must have prior experience in a dietary support role.
- All weekend shifts are required (every other weekend).
- COVID vaccination is mandatory.
- Ensure that food‑preparation and sanitation practices and policies are followed in a safe environment.
- Confirm that residents receive the prescribed diet according to their physician’s orders and the daily menu.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the Director of Dietary Services.
- Operate food‑preparation equipment such as slicers, grinders, mixers, dishwashers, garbage disposals, stoves, and coffee makers competently.
