The LPN Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care within the skilled nursing facility. This role provides direct supervision to nursing staff, supports clinical operations, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, mentor, and support LPNs, CNAs, and other direct care staff during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate daily staffing, assignments, and workflow to ensure adequate coverage and timely resident care.
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, assessments, and documentation.
- Monitor resident conditions, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Conduct audits, assist with care plan development, and ensure accurate and timely charting.
- Promote resident safety, infection control practices, and adherence to facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions as needed.
- Serve as a role model for professional conduct, teamwork, and compassionate care.
- Current and unencumbered LPN license.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in fast‑paced environments.
