Located in the Ludlow Hotel on Manhattan’s storied Lower East Side,
Dirty
French is an energetic bistro created by the acclaimed hospitality brand Major Food Group and its co-founders Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi. The restaurant takes its culinary cues from the timeless dishes of the classic French tradition and enlivens them by utilizing modern techniques and bold, thrilling flavors. RESPONSIBILITIES
:

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catch and soups.
• Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
• Takes names on a waiting list.
• Runs the floor plan board.
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
• Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area.
• Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.
• Fills to-go orders, if applicable.
• Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
• Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.
• Performs other duties as directed.

REQUIREMENTS
:

• Experience in a high volume, upscale restaurant preferred but not required
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred
• Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
• Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.i>
• Proficient or ability to learn computer skills including POS systems, Open Table, Word and Excel.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude

COMPENSATION
:
Salary $19.00 - $22.00 / hour
