As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you will support all At Your Service activities, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards.

This role requires strong multitasking abilities, problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer‑first mindset. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced environment where flexibility is key, including working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Beyond cashier duties, you will help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting so every customer feels welcome the moment they walk in.

How Our At Your Service Colleagues Spend Their Day
  • Start the day with a positive example: Arrive energized, greet teammates warmly, and ensure areas are clean, organized, and ready for customers.
  • Lead through action in the At Your Service area: Welcome customers with genuine hospitality, make eye contact, and engage in friendly conversations.
  • Assist customers in all aspects of total store fulfillment, including BOP/BOP, using all systems needed to complete transactions.
  • Maintain a shoppable space: Recover merchandise, keep pickup and return areas clean, and ensure timely BOP pickup and curbside delivery.
  • Finish strong: Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have everything they need, and thank them sincerely.
  • Support each other: Collaborate with honesty, care, and teamwork to better serve customers and communities.
  • Strive for excellence: Improve daily, hit sales goals, and learn from each other to achieve individual and store results.

Full‑time colleagues typically work 30+ hours per week; part‑time colleagues are scheduled 12–24 hours per week. All schedules include weekend shifts. Detailed information regarding hours and benefit eligibility can be found here.

Who You Are
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Can understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
  • Can read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
  • Makes prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.
  • Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
  • Meeting daily sales goal challenges.
  • Assists in acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
  • Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Comfortable handling electronic devices.

Physical Requirements You Will Perform
  • Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
  • Standing two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching above eye level.
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology including handheld equipment and cash register.
