As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Center - Full Time in Yonkers, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks and identify unusual activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment tailored to the needs of the food and beverage industry.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
