Base pay range$18.00/hr - $24.00/hr
Job Summary
A growing logistics and distribution company is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL A or B Driver to support delivery operations and warehouse activities. This is a hybrid role involving customer deliveries and hands-on work in the warehouse when not on the road.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate flatbed and box trucks to deliver materials to customers in the NY Metro area, Westchester, New Jersey, and Connecticut
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Load and unload materials at the warehouse and customer job sites
- Verify and count materials during pickups and deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at delivery locations
- Remain DOT-compliant at all times and submit daily driving logs
- Follow company safety standards and adhere to all federal and state motor vehicle regulations
- Assist with general warehouse tasks when not driving
- Communicate clearly over phone (cell or landline) and follow instructions from supervisors
- Valid CDL A or B license (Required)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods and working in all weather conditions
- Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
- Strong attention to safety and detail
