Scope of Work:

The individual in this role will be highly proficient in processing teller transactions, may open new accounts, complete more complex customer requests and provide problem resolution. This individual may be responsible for the daily operation of the vault cash and/or oversee end of day processing activities. They will be knowledgeable of our company’s products and services to effectively meet the customer’s needs and provide a superior level of customer service.

Essential Functions (3):

  • Transaction Processing & Cash Handling - Process a variety of teller transactions accurately and efficiently, which may include deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, accurately verifies incoming / outgoing cash, including daily balancing of cash drawer and vaults. May also serve as vault custodian, responsible for the daily operation of the main cash vault.
  • Customer Experience – Displays the following attributes: projects a positive image, friendly, outgoing, professional, courteous, resolves problems quickly and efficiently, and is respectful to customers.
  • Product Knowledge and/or Sales – Maintains a working knowledge of company products and services in order to communicate effectively with customers. Proficient in using a variety of systems and software applications. May open new accounts, complete complex account maintenance requests and provide qualified referrals to other business lines. Meets assigned sales/referral goals if applicable.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Displays strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Displays strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task to meet established deadlines
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effectively uses analytical skills to solve technical, as well as non-technical problems
  • Prior knowledge of banking regulations is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to change

  • 1-2 years of related experience in financial services

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards
