Bookkeeper

Were looking for a motivated, detail-oriented accountant to help keep our financial information in order and up to date. Youll be in charge of bookkeeping, producing financial reports, and recording accurate information in Quick Books. If this sounds like you, we highly encourage you to apply.
Compensation:

20.00 - 24.00 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely manner
• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Complete bookkeeping duties:
  Data entry and record maintenance
• Process payroll to provide payment to employees on time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
• Experience with Excel, Quick Books, and basic accounting systems
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar
