Job Details:

• Work either 4, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 3, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

• 1-2 call shifts per week Monday through Thursday, call starts after your shift until 7:00 AM the next morning

• 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks, call starts at end of Friday shift until 7:00 AM Monday

• 30-minute callback response time required

• Holiday call coverage as needed by department

• No guaranteed block scheduling

• No scheduled weekend shifts (call only)

• Neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and robotics experience required

• Must have neurosurgery experience and ability to function independently

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required

• First-time travelers not accepted

• EPIC charting system experience required

• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)

• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract

• Patient ratio of 1:1

• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• Pre-employment modules required (5-6 hours, completed pre-start)

• Manager interview required

• No license hits accepted

Facility:

This major healthcare facility features an 18-room operating department within a 593-bed hospital system. The facility maintains a daily census of 50-60 patients and provides comprehensive surgical services including neurosurgery, trauma, orthopedic, and robotic procedures. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
