Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Level I trauma and robotic surgery skills for a high-acuity environment, requiring a PA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital operating room setting

• Level I trauma center with a diverse surgical caseload including robotics, orthopedics, general, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and trauma

• Must be able to independently scrub and circulate

• Proficiency with the Davinci xi robot required; familiarity with DV5 Davinci robot is a plus

• 3x12 hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

• Weekend rotations required (3-4 weekend shifts in a 6 week matrix; could be days, evenings, or nights)

• Call required: 2-3 calls in a 6 week matrix with a 30-minute on-site response time

• Floating to other units may be required as needed

• Holiday coverage may be required for day, evening, or night shifts

• Could be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients

• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free

• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed

• Manager interview required as part of hiring process
Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license required

• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience

• At least 1 year of Level II trauma experience required;
Level I trauma experience required

• Previous travel nursing experience required

• Must be proficient in robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties utilizing the Davinci xi system

• Ability to function independently in all listed surgical specialties
