Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Level I trauma and robotic surgery skills for a high-acuity environment, requiring a PA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities
Position is in a hospital operating room setting
Level I trauma center with a diverse surgical caseload including robotics, orthopedics, general, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and trauma
Must be able to independently scrub and circulate
Proficiency with the Davinci xi robot required; familiarity with DV5 Davinci robot is a plus
3x12 hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Weekend rotations required (3-4 weekend shifts in a 6 week matrix; could be days, evenings, or nights)
Call required: 2-3 calls in a 6 week matrix with a 30-minute on-site response time
Floating to other units may be required as needed
Holiday coverage may be required for day, evening, or night shifts
Could be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients
Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed
Manager interview required as part of hiring process

Requirements
Active PA or compact RN license required
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience
At least 1 year of Level II trauma experience required;
Level I trauma experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Must be proficient in robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties utilizing the Davinci xi system
Ability to function independently in all listed surgical specialties
