Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required

• Level I trauma experience required with previous travel experience required

• Must be proficient in scrubbing and circulating

• Must function independently with DaVinci xi robot (DV5 familiarity is a bonus)

• Must be proficient with robotic general, gynecologic, thoracic, and urology specialties

• Must function independently in all specialties:
Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma

• Call requirements: 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute response time required

• Weekend requirements: 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (can be days, evenings, or nights)

• Holiday coverage as needed on any shift

• Floating as needed throughout facility

• Maximum 7 days return to work time

• Patient ratio of 1:1

• Work with patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics

• Daily census of 50-60 patients with 18 operating rooms

• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred

• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)

• Clean nursing license required with no hits accepted

This major healthcare facility operates an 18-room operating suite with 593 beds, providing comprehensive surgical services including advanced robotic surgery capabilities. The facility specializes in Level I trauma care and offers a full range of surgical specialties from general surgery to complex procedures. The organization maintains state-of-the-art equipment including DaVinci xi and DV5 robotic systems, and provides extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
