Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of experience required

• Level I trauma experience required

• Previous travel experience required

• Maximum 7-day return to origin (RTO)

• 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (weekends could be day, evening, or night shift)

• Holiday coverage per department need (holidays could be day, evening, or night shift)

• 2-3 call shifts within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute callback response

• Patient ratio of 1:1

• Must be proficient with DaVinci xi robot and bonus for DV5 DaVinci robot familiarity

• Must be proficient with robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties

• Must function independently in all specialties:
Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma

• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate

• Must have Level II trauma experience (minimum 1 year)

• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred

• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)

• Manager interview required

• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• No license hits accepted

This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive surgical department featuring 18 operating rooms within a 593-bed facility. The facility specializes in advanced surgical procedures including robotic surgery with DaVinci xi and DV5 systems, serving a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics. The organization maintains high standards for surgical care with daily census of 50-60 cases and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
