American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN with Epic charting skills and call team participation for a high-volume invasive cardiology unit.

• Invasive Cardiology unit with 4 dedicated Cardiac Cath Labs, 3 dedicated EP labs, and 2 shared cath/EP labs
• Unit includes 33 prep/recovery bays and completes over 6,000 procedures annually
• Day shift, working either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Weekends required as needed
• Floating required as needed
• Call required with a 30-minute response time, assigned to one of six call teams rotating no more than every sixth weekend
• No holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active RN license (PA or compact) in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP RN experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, TAVR, and vascular closure systems
• Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Skilled in 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Experience with IV therapy including starting/maintaining IVs and blood product administration

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac cath/EP environment supporting advanced cardiovascular procedures such as VAD/ECMO, structural heart repairs, and complex ablations
• May care for COVID-positive patients
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• Must reside within 50 miles for local candidate consideration
• Maximum RTO of 7 days
• Travel pairs accepted, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this position
