** Construction Equipment Operator

** The ideal candidate will safely operate and maintain a variety of construction equipment used in electrical construction activities. Previous equipment operation experience is required, and electrical construction experience is preferred but not required.  ###
** Responsibilities
* ** Operate and maintain construction equipment including excavators, backhoes, trenchers, skid steers, augers, and other heavy machinery.
* Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling activities in support of electrical construction projects.
* Follow project plans, specifications, and safety requirements to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
* Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
* Work closely with supervisors, foremen, and field crews to support project goals and schedules.
* Identify and report equipment issues, site hazards, and safety concerns promptly.
* Assist with general labor duties as needed, including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup.
* Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all company and project safety standards.###
** Qualifications
* ** Previous experience operating construction equipment in a commercial, industrial, or utility construction environment.
* Knowledge of safe equipment operation practices and basic equipment maintenance.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project needs.
* Electrical construction experience is a plus but not required.
* Valid driver's license preferred.###
