Gavin Kendall from Reed Practice is supporting a growing independent multi-site firm of Chartered Accountants in the search for an experienced Accounts Senior to join his clients established team. The RoleAs an Accounts Senior, you will take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of clients, primarily owner-managed businesses, delivering high-quality accountancy and advisory services. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a broad range of technical work, alongside opportunities to support and develop junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and tax computations for a range of clients, including companies, LLPs, and sole traders
• Act as a key point of contact for client queries, ensuring a high standard of service delivery
• Prepare and review VAT returns and assist with statutory filings
• Work collaboratively with audit and tax teams to provide a seamless client service
• Supervise, coach, and support trainees and junior staff
• Manage your own workload effectively to ensure deadlines are met and work is delivered accurately and efficiently

Person Specification
• Several years' experience within an accountancy practice environment
• ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified (or part-qualified); candidates qualified by experience will also be considered
• Strong technical knowledge with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Experience with accounting software such as IRIS, Xero, Quick Books, Sage, or specialist systems (e.g. Farmplan) would be advantageous
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous professional development
