We're working with a well-established and progressive accountancy practice in South Yorkshire that is looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to support a growing portfolio of owner-managed businesses.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys building client relationships and wants to work in a modern practice where advisory work is encouraged rather than being an afterthought.

Working closely with managers and partners, you'll be responsible for:

• Preparing statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
• Preparing management accounts and providing meaningful insight to clients
• VAT returns and bookkeeping reviews
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and responding to day-to-day queries
• Supporting clients with business and financial matters as their trusted adviser

We're keen to speak with candidates who:

• Have RECENT experience working within an accountancy practice environment- this is essential
• Are confident preparing accounts for limited companies
• Enjoy building long-term relationships with clients
