Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant Outskirts of Norwich Temporary Opportunity with Potential to Become Permanent Full-Time Preferred | 4 Days per Week Also Considered Competitive Salary Depending on Experience Free On-Site Parking Our client, a well-established business based on the outskirts of Norwich, is seeking a Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right individual.

This opportunity is ideally suited to either:
An Assistant Management Accountant who has supported the preparation of management accounts and is looking to take the next step in their career and gain greater exposure. An experienced Management Accountant who can hit the ground running and take ownership of the monthly management accounting process. The business is open to considering candidates across a range of experience levels, with a competitive salary available depending on skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities Assisting with or preparing monthly management accounts Producing journals, accruals and prepayments Conducting balance sheet reconciliations Supporting month-end and year-end close processes Analysing financial performance and investigating variances Preparing reports and financial information for senior management Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc projects and analysis About You We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
Previous finance experience within an Assistant Management Accountant, Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant or similar role Experience preparing or assisting with management accounts Strong understanding of accruals, prepayments and journals Good reconciliation and analytical skills Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving What's on Offer?
