Accountant, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

Are you an experienced bookkeeper, QBE Accountant or Qualified Accouintant? Your new company A well-established and growing professional services firm is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its expanding outsourcing team. Working with a varied portfolio of UK and international clients, you'll become part of a collaborative business that combines technical expertise with a genuinely supportive and down-to-earth culture.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys management accounting, cloud-based software and building strong client relationships, whilst developing their career within a successful and growing practice. Your new role Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts Managing a portfolio of UK and international clients Preparing and reviewing VAT returns Performing balance sheet reconciliations Supporting clients with accounting software queries Working with a variety of accounting systems, including Xero, Quick Books, Sage, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics and SAP Liaising directly with clients and building long-term relationships Supporting process improvements and efficiencies within client finance functions What you'll need to succeed Strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge Previous experience preparing management accounts Experience completing VAT returns Confident undertaking balance sheet reconciliations Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books, Sage or similar Strong communication and client-facing skills Experience gained within an accountancy practice or outsourcing environment would be advantageous.
