Hours:

Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week) An established accountancy practice in Kirk Hammerton is looking to recruit a Tax Assistant to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous accountancy practice experience in a tax assistant role who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive practice environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and submitting personal tax returns for clients.
• Corresponding with clients, HMRC and third parties.
• Liaising with clients by telephone, email, post and occasionally in person.
• Handling administrative matters relating to tax returns.
• Supporting the Tax Senior with additional duties as required.

About You:

• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice in a tax assistant role is essential.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
