Records Assistant (Temporary)

If you're detail-focused, comfortable with data, and ready to support a busy team, this temporary role in York could be a great fit. Our Client is looking for someone who can help keep records accurate, up to date, and easy to trust.
What you'll be doing:- Scanning Railway health and safety files
- Entering and verifying a variety of data in the required formats
- Tracking and verifying the quality of data entry from multiple sources
- Resolving queries and problems related to data
- Providing data-processing support to an individual or wider team
- Good IT skills and confidence working with data
- A careful, quality-first approach to checking details are correct
- Experience of data handling in a similar support role (1-2 years)
- The ability to stay organised while completing repetitive tasks accurately
- Comfort with light manual handling (no heavy lifting)
- Temporary assignment supporting data processing and record checks within a document-heavy environment
