At Apatura, we develop projects that power clean energy and a thriving digital world — from battery storage to data centres. It’s complex, high-impact work, delivered by a highly capable team who move quickly and care deeply about doing things well.

We’re driven by bold ideas, a strong sense of purpose and a willingness to challenge how things are usually done. With a growing pipeline of projects and ambitious plans to expand the business, this role offers the chance to play a key part in supporting Apatura’s next stage of growth.

About the role

We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to partner with our CEO, COO and CFO, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Executive Office through exceptional administrative, organisational and operational management.

Working alongside the Chief of Staff, you’ll be a trusted partner, managing executive priorities, coordinating key business activities and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

In this role you will:
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the CEO, CFO and COO, managing complex diaries, meetings, correspondence, expenses and travel arrangements.
  • Working closely with the Chief of Staff to anticipate the needs of senior leaders, proactively preparing briefing papers, presentations and reports to ensure they are fully prepared for key meetings and engagements.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing enquiries with professionalism and discretion and escalating matters to the Chief of Staff where appropriate.
  • Track actions, deadlines and priorities across the executive team, ensuring timely follow-up and highlighting potential risks or delay.
  • Assist the Chief of Staff with strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives, including research, report writing and presentation development.
  • Work closely with the wider Executive Assistant team and business leaders to coordinate schedules, meetings and logistics across the leadership team.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of key decisions, actions and leadership activities.
  • Help ensure effective communication and smooth coordination between the Executive Office and wider business functions.
  • Provide ad hoc personal assistance as required.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment, with prior executive-level support experience essential and C-suite exposure preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Adaptable and resilient, able to remain calm and effective when priorities change.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
  • Professional and trustworthy, with a strong commitment to handling confidential information discreetly.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and a range of digital tools to manage workload and projects.
  • Able to work independently, using sound judgement and initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach to supporting business objectives.
What we offer:
  • Private medical care with Bupa (household included)
  • Enhanced pension scheme
  • EV salary sacrifice scheme + cycle-to-work scheme
  • 30 days’ annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays to start, increasing with length of service, plus additional leave over the Christmas period
