Overview
We have an opportunity for a Studio Manager or Senior Artworker / Retoucher at a highly successful printing company.
Responsibilities- Ensure the studio has adequate resources to carry out its work and that the work taken on is realistic and manageable within available resources.
- Manage and oversee people, equipment, workflow and quality assurance.
- Recruit staff and freelancers, providing induction and ensuring roles, skills and procedures are optimised and used to best effect.
- Maximise the efficiency of the studio and the quality of its services.
- Take initiative, be a confident decision‑maker and use an accurate and methodological approach to all projects.
- Show excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.
- Wealth of experience in artwork, repro and retouching.
- Exemplary management skills, capable of optimising roles, skills and procedures.
- Experience managing studio operations and maintaining quality assurance standards.
