A Leading Construction Contractor is looking for a Buyer to join their growing team in Leeds.

The main objective of the role will be to support the buying team in delivering various construction projects, key duties are;

• Manage the day to day project procurement of materials.
• Expediting purchase orders and chase outstanding deliveries.
• Work with commercial team to deliver procurement requirements.
• Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with business strategies.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support high profile projects and deliver significant results for the business.

Responsible for managing a variety of low to high value material packages.

Working on 5-6 high profile construction schemes across the country.

Managing project teams requirements, with a key responsibility that all materials are delivered on time and successfully.

Our client is looking for candidates with 1+ years procurement experience from any construction contractor or leading house builder.

Ideally you will have strong materials procurement experience working on projects.

They will consider Assistant Buyers who are looking for career progression, or buyers looking for a new challenge.
