We are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Operative to join a busy new build residential construction site in Tamworth, B79. This is an immediate start opportunity for a reliable and experienced operator.
The successful Telehandler Operator will have previous experience working on new build residential sites and be confident operating a telehandler to move and distribute materials around the construction site safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently on a busy construction site
- Moving and distributing building materials around the site
- Loading and unloading materials as required
- Assisting trades and site teams with material movements
- Following site health and safety procedures
- Carrying out daily checks on the telehandler
- Supporting general site operations when required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
- Previous Telehandler experience on a construction site
- Experience working on new build residential developments
- Experience moving construction materials
- CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
- Relevant site experience
- Good understanding of construction site health and safety
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to start immediately
