Customer Service Advisor

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Temporary Customer Service Advisors to join a busy and friendly team on the outskirts of York in the lead-up to Christmas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for temporary work during the busy festive period.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Handling inbound customer calls, providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Processing customer orders accurately over the phone.
• Responding to customer enquiries, resolving issues and providing helpful advice.
• Supporting customers with product information and recommending additional products where appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems.
• Ensuring every customer feels valued and receives an excellent level of service.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous customer service experience, ideally within a telephone-based environment.
• Is confident communicating with customers and has a friendly, positive approach.
• Has good IT skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Can work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Is reliable, flexible and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

This is a temporary position in the lead-up to Christmas, paying £12.76 per hour, working Tuesday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, and Saturday, 8am to 4:30pm.

The role is based on the outskirts of York, so applicants will need their own transport due to the location.
