We are looking for Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels in our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. As a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance, you will be involved in teaching, learning, and assessment of students while keeping up to date with industry developments and providing student support.

• All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met.
• Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate.
• Using a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials.
• Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
• Understanding and keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
• Working towards a range of clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and student progression.

• You hold a Master's degree in an Accounting and Finance field obtained in the UK or equivalent from PSRB's, and you are a full member (PhD desirable).
• You have previous UK HE lecturing experience delivering core accounting modules such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation and Audit or similar subjects.
• You can demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
• You have experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
• You have experience of accurate reporting and are able to maintain thorough and organised student records.
• You can work under pressure, plan and prioritise your own workload to meet tight deadlines.
• You possess excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
• You are able to work with diverse groups of people.

• You hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or an equivalent teaching qualification (or you are committed to enrol on a teaching programme during probation and complete it within three years) or you have a Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
• You are fully qualified from PSRB's (both affiliates or active members) such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and/or IFA.
