Salary: £46,333 per annum. Plus generous benefits include:

As an Innovation Coach (Teaching & Learning) for GCSE Maths, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening teaching, learning and assessment across the College. Working closely with the Learning and Innovation Lead, you will coach and support GCSE Maths teachers to deliver inspirational, high‑quality provision that leads to excellent student outcomes and positive value added results.
You will act as a role model of best practice, supporting curriculum sequencing, innovative assessment strategies, and the effective use of digital approaches in learning. The role includes contributing to quality improvement activity such as professional development observations, KPI monitoring, and CPD planning and delivery, while maintaining teaching credibility through a substantive teaching timetable in GCSE Maths (approximately 0.4 FTE). This is an influential role for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about developing others and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Aboutthe person
We are looking for an experienced GCSE Maths professional with a strong track record of delivering high quality teaching and an excellent student experience. You will have experience coaching or mentoring colleagues and contributing to quality improvement within FE, alongside experience of designing and delivering impactful CPD.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and hold a relevant teaching qualification at Level 5 or above, along with a Level 3 or higher qualification in Mathematics. You will bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to analyse and use data effectively, and a solutions‑focused mindset. Highly organised, approachable and resilient, you will be motivated by raising standards and supporting colleagues to be the best they can be.
