About the role

We are proud to offer an exciting opportunity to join a College with a national reputation for quality as an Electrical Tutor. In this role, you will deliver high‑quality, engaging teaching to both full‑time learners and apprentices, supporting their development and preparing them for successful careers in the electrical industry.

Working within our modern training facilities, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of electricians, helping learners build both their technical expertise and industry‑ready skills.

About the person

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Electrical Tutor to join our dedicated team. You will be industry‑qualified, with current and relevant experience in commercial, industrial or domestic electrical installations, and bring a passion for your trade along with a desire to inspire others.

You will be approachable, self‑motivated and committed to supporting learners in a structured and supportive environment. A flexible and collaborative approach is essential, as you will work closely with colleagues to deliver a high‑quality and engaging learning experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt your teaching approach to meet a range of learner needs will be key to your success.

Previous teaching experience is not essential. We offer full training and ongoing professional development, making this an ideal opportunity for a practising electrician looking to transition into education, or for an existing tutor seeking a new challenge.

Above all, you will be passionate about your subject and driven to motivate, develop and support learners as they progress into the electrical industry.
