GSL Education are hiring a skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join schools in Sheffield
. The Design and Technology (DT) Teacher will deliver hands‑on lessons that develop students’ technical skills, creativity, and understanding of design processes across key stages.

• Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Teach a range of practical skills, including design, construction, and use of tools and materials.
• Encourage creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.
• Maintain a safe and well‑organised workshop/classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience working as Design and Technology Teacher in a school setting.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in practical environments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
