GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate PE Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield.

As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher
, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that support pupils’ physical development, teamwork, and understanding of health and fitness.

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Encourage participation and promote positive attitudes towards sport.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed sporting environment.
• Support extracurricular clubs and school sports events.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working as a PE Teacher in a school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Passion for sport, fitness, and pupil development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection; successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
