GSL Education are searching for a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Doncaster
, supporting pupils with special educational needs on an individual basis.

In this role, you will work closely with a student to provide tailored support, helping them access learning, develop confidence, and engage positively within the school environment.

As a 1:1 Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, adapting your approach to meet individual learning styles and emotional needs.

• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEN needs
• Assist with classroom learning and daily routines
• Implement individual support plans and strategies
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
• Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice

• Right to work in the UK
• Provide an up-to-date CV with relevant recent references
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
