Year 3 Teacher – Primary School (Leeds)

Full‑Time | Immediate / March Start | Until End of Academic Year

Leader Education are recruiting a Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Leeds from March until the end of the academic year
.

This is a full‑time role within a supportive school environment where staff work collaboratively to ensure all pupils can succeed. The Year 3 class includes a number of pupils with SEND
, so experience supporting children with additional needs will be beneficial.

The school is looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who can create an engaging classroom environment while supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering the Year 3 curriculum while supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

Responsibilities Include
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Differentiating learning to support pupils with SEND
  • Creating a positive and structured classroom environment
  • Supporting pupils’ emotional regulation and engagement with learning
  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies where required
  • Working collaboratively with the wider school team to support pupil development
The Ideal Candidate We Are Looking For a Teacher Who Is
  • Qualified with QTS or equivalent
  • Experienced teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Confident supporting pupils with SEND within a mainstream classroom
  • Patient, adaptable, and able to differentiate learning effectively
  • Available full‑time from March until July

ECTs are welcome to apply if they have experience supporting SEND pupils during placements.
