Pay Rate: £90-£110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting a resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to work in a welcoming school in the S9 area of Sheffield.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident working with pupils displaying challenging behaviour and is passionate about helping children re-engage with learning through consistent, supportive intervention.
Prime Responsibilities of Behaviour Support Assistant- Provide targeted behaviour support to pupils across the primary age range.
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive engagement in learning.
- Support pupils in managing emotions and developing self-regulation strategies.
- Implement agreed behaviour support plans consistently.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Experience working with children or young people in schools or youth work settings is preferred.
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach.
- Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
- Resilient, patient, and proactive attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.
- Competitive daily pay of £90-£110, depending on experience.
