Contract:
12 month fixed term, part‑time, term time only. Position available for 2 days a week, Wednesday and Friday. Salary ranges from £21,257.48 to £23,232.69 (pro‑rated £12,754.48 to £13,938.62).

- Support one pupil or a small group (maximum six)
- Support the classroom teacher during lessons
- Report on progress and concerns, liaising with school staff
- Supervise pupils during non‑classroom activities and trips
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation
- Set work and mark where appropriate
- Build positive relationships and support learning outcomes
- Strong basic education (minimum GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths) and IT skills
- Experience in a similar role (teaching assistant desirable)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH in an educational setting
- Ability to take responsibility for areas such as food hygiene, forest school or activities
- Experience of behaviour management
- Commitment to professional development
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, cost covered by Polaris Community.
