• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS):
  Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.

• Lesson Delivery:
  Plan, prepare, and deliver highly engaging, rigorous Drama lessons across all assigned key stages.
• Curriculum Implementation:
  Follow and enrich the department’s spiral curriculum, ensuring students progressively build complexity in their work.
• Examination Preparation:
  Guide Key Stage 4 and 5 cohorts through the intricacies of devising drama, understanding texts, and practical assessments.
• Production Management:
  Oversee and coordinate the school's annual theatrical calendar, including casting, rehearsals, and live show nights.
• Student Tracking:
  Monitor, record, and report on the academic and practical progress of students, using data to inform interventions.
• Extracurricular Delivery:
  Lead a minimum of one weekly drama or musical theatre club to widen pupil experiences beyond the standard classroom.
• Industry Engagement:
  Organise educational trips to live theatre productions (such as the National Theatre or local West Yorkshire venues).
• Parental Liaison:
  Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and development areas.
• Professional Development:
  Actively participate in faculty meetings, internal CPD sessions, and school‑wide training initiatives.
• Pastoral Support:
  Fulfil the standard duties of a Form Tutor, providing daily guidance, registration, and support to an assigned student group.
