Connex Education is supporting a number of mainstream secondary schools across Leeds in recruiting passionate and dedicated PE Teachers for September starts.

As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons, encouraging students to develop teamwork, resilience and a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness.

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Monitor and support student progress and attainment
• Manage behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations
• Undertake the full responsibilities and timetable of a classroom teacher
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

This is a full-time position working 32.5 hours per week during term time.

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be confident delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
• Have the right to work in the UK
