Salary: A GBP 24,930 FTE (Pro:rata A GBP 14,188.33) per annum

Hours:
Part time (25 hours per week for 37 weeks worked: Term time plus 1 training week)
We are looking for Learning Support Assistants to work within our busy Additional Learning Support Team.
Responsibilities- Provide in and out of class support to assist students with learning difficulties/disabilities to help them achieve their best possible outcomes, including personal care and literacy and numeracy support.
- Assist in the planning, preparation and reviewing of learning in conjunction with relevant curriculum staff, providing feedback and carrying out reviews to ensure students are making expected progress.
- Support students effectively, dealing with challenging behaviour when it arises, helping them to develop their own coping strategies.
- Collaborate closely with tutors and additional learning support staff to support learners within the classroom environment.
- Hold or be working towards Maths and English L2/C grade.
- Willing to work towards an adult learner support or equivalent qualification.
- Experience supporting students in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of SEND, ALS and EHCPs.
- Strong personal skills to support students and manage challenging behaviour.
