Beckfoot Thornton School is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving skills across a diverse student body.

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages (as appropriate)
• Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking in students
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Contribute to curriculum development within the DT department
• Support extracurricular activities, including DT clubs, STEM initiatives, or exhibitions

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching Design and Technology in a secondary school setting (including ECTs welcome to apply)
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Design and Technology
• Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
