Course Leader & Tutor of Music Technology (/204)
Hours:
23.3 per week (14.5 teaching hours). Salary: up to £43,408 pro‑rata per annum, with potential to earn £44,875 if advanced teaching status (ATS) is achieved. Programme:
Pearson Edexcel A Level Music Technology.
- Experience with music production software such as Cubase.
- Strong teaching skills for both theoretical and practical aspects of Music Technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team of course leaders.
- 57 days annual leave (pro‑rata, including bank holidays and efficiency closures).
- Occupational pension scheme.
- Teacher training support for Level 5 qualification (Cert Ed / PGCE). Progression beyond salary scale point 12 (£40,407) contingent on QTLS acquisition.
- Potential enhanced salary (£44,875) with Advanced Teacher Status via SET.
