Salary: £460 - £650 per week (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking dedicated and proactive Behaviour Support staff to work in schools across Sheffield
.

As Behaviour Support
, you will work closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance, helping them build confidence, improve engagement, and develop positive attitudes towards education.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural needs
• Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage engagement in learning
• Implement behaviour management strategies and support plans
• Build strong and positive relationships with students
• Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support student wellbeing
• Monitor and record student behaviour, progress, and development
• Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

• Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs is desirable
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour positively and effectively
• Experience in education, youth work, coaching, or care settings is beneficial
• A genuine passion for supporting young people
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
