We're seeking a dedicated Early Years SEND Teacher for a school in North Yorkshire. This role is ideal for someone who understands that progress isn't always loud and sometimes it's a look, a word, or a small step forward that only you notice.

You’ll work across specialist and alternative provisions, supporting pupils who need consistency, structure, and genuine understanding.

• Plan and deliver personalised learning tailored to individual needs
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Work collaboratively with TAs, SENCOs, and external professionals
• Support pupils with ASD, SEMH, PMLD, and complex needs
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour with empathy and skill

• Teach in a way that aligns with your values
• Join supportive teams with real SEND expertise
• Access opportunities across specialist schools, PRUs, and alternative provisions
• Pathways to long-term and permanent positions

• Stay calm and adaptable when plans change
• Naturally build strong relationships with pupils
• Are passionate about inclusive education
• Believe every child deserves to feel safe, understood, and capable

• QTS or significant experience in SEND settings
• A patient, compassionate approach
• Confidence adapting lessons for diverse needs
