GSL Education are searching for a skilled Maths Teacher to work with schools in Wakefield
, delivering engaging lessons that make mathematics clear, accessible, and enjoyable for all learners.
As a Mathematics Teacher
, you will deliver well-structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of key mathematical concepts, encourage logical thinking, and support them in achieving their academic potential in a supportive classroom environment.
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage problem-solving, reasoning, and numerical confidence.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Support students of varying abilities through differentiated learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Maths Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Competitive daily pay of up to £220, depending on experience.
