Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant
This is a great opportunity to become a positive support mechanism and role model in the lives of secondary school students across Kirklees. You will work as either 1:1 or with groups in helping young people with a range of barriers to learning, to access work set by class teachers and to navigate what can be very challenging days h day will bring a new challenge and also a new opportunity to help the child overcome daily difficulties and flourish at school.
Responsibilities- Work 1:1 or with small groups to support young people with a range of barriers to learning.
- Help students access work set by class teachers and navigate challenging days at school.
- Experience working with children.
- Understanding of safeguarding in schools.
- Strong initiative and problem‑solving skills.
- Commitment to putting children’s needs first.
- Competitive rates of £90‑120 per day.
- Free safeguarding training.
- A stimulating and exciting environment with daily challenges and rewards.
- Support from a team of consultants.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
